House in Salgareda

Sector: residential
Project Name: Private home in Salgareda (TV)
Typology: architectural design
Client: private
Year: 2010

We designed this home to reflect the personalities of its occupants, beginning with the unusual form of the lot.

The house in Salgareda is characterised by the particular nature of its configuration and interior layout.

The plan of the home was suggested by the unusual form of the lot.

The façade is characterised by a grille-like structure of horizontal elements in artificial stone, inspired by automotive design.

The interiors are flooded with natural light and dominated by white surfaces. The absence of colour is compensated by a particular use of forms, by the sculptural “parrot” staircase at the centre of the living room, reaching up to the gypsum board soffits and false ceilings with recessed light fixtures.

A second stair, finished in Kerlite, connects the basement with the three bedrooms and two baths on the upper level.

A single storey garage is covered by a terrace. This house is completed by the landscaping of the garden.
